What We Do

What We Do

Seeding

Seeding does more than yield new grass. Seeding can help landscapes recover from recent stresses, prevent soil erosion, improve soil aerification, improve water infiltration and create a denser turf.

At Green Seed®, what separates us from the competition is what we include in our standard service:

  • We test soil to determine germination vigor
  • Prep the ground for seeding
  • Broadcast seed with appropriate seasonal mix
  • Broadcast Class AA compost
  • Re-drag area
  • We have both on-road and off-road water trucks to make sure your sod is watered when mother nature won't

NO MORE HAY BLOWING ALL OVER YOUR JOB SITE!

NO MORE SPOTS WHERE GRASS CAN'T GROW!

WE OFFER SEEDING FOR ANY SIZE JOB!

Sod Installation

We are the experts for installing sod on construction sites.  After installation, our sod requires less irrigation, makes for a denser lawn and prevents soil erosion.

At Green Seed®, what separates us from the competition is what we include in our standard service:

  • Green Seed® has a contract with the best sod fields in North Florida
  • Our trucks and crews are ready to make sure your sod is installed on the job site within 48 ours of being cut from the sod fields
  • We have both on-road and off-road water trucks to make sure your sod is watered when mother nature won't
  • We install silt fence on ponds that need protection from erosion problems during construction

Silt Fencing

Silt fencing controls sediment runoff from construction sites during active construction. Silt fencing can also slow water, long enough to cause sediment to drop out, allowing sediment free water to pass through the fabric.

At Green Seed®, what separates us from the competition is what we include in our standard service:

  • Our trencher can be offset past the skid steer tracks, so we make sure the Silt Fence is on the actually clearing limit line.

Class AA Compost

Compost enriches soil, helping retain moisture and suppress plant diseases and pests. This simultaneously encourages the production of beneficial bacteria and fungi that break down organic matter to create humus, a rich nutrient-filled material.  It is used at Golf Courses, Sod Fields, Planned Developments and Residential Gardens.

At Green Seed®, what separates us from the competition is what we include in our standard service:

  • We make our own compost and handle all the quality control
  • Analysis and Testing of product done monthly (Copy of report available upon request)
  • Our Compost is rated Class AA which is the highest quality

At Green Seed®, what separates us from the competition can be seen for yourself! The amazing growth from our Class AA compost is shown in the photos below. In just 8 days, seed enriched with our Class AA compost is thriving, compared to the seed without it! Same job site, same seed day!
